All I needed was nail polish, scotch tape, and patience.
I chose Pure Ice: Risk Taker, XTreme Wear: Mint Sorbet, and Diamond Strength: Flawless; I really liked the contrast between the silvery grey and the bright mint green. I put on a few coats of the silver polish, and waited about two hours to make sure it was absolutely dry (wet nails and scotch tape? yuck)
After that, I placed scotch tape pieces diagonally across each nail (pressing down on them to make sure that none of the mint polish could get underneath). Next, I applied the mint polish and removed the tape while my nails were still wet.
After waiting another 20 minutes or so for them to dry, I applied the clear top coat and voilà! Fun, easy nails.
